Mrs. Belle Richmond, 64, wife of James H. Richmond, 145 East Thirty-third street, foreman and superintendent of the Morrison-street bridge for many years, died Friday at the St. Vincent’s hospital after an illness of three months. Mrs. Richmond was born in Marion, O., and was a schoolmate and personal friend of the late Mrs. Warren G. Harding, wife of the ex-president.
She is survived by her widower, two daughters, Mrs. Frances E. Hurlburt of Portland and Mrs. Marion J. Marshall of Kellogg, Idaho; and a son, William J. Richmond of Portland.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 P. M. at the Portland crematorium. Rite s will be according to the Episcopal service, followed by the Eastern Star service.
