Soile and her father and brother came to Canada when she was a little girl and she attended school in the Riverdale district of Toronto. She eventually got a job in a travel agency and her dad returned to Finland. Later she also returned there when her father was sick. She had several jobs and at the last was looking after the elderly doing homecare, a position that she loved and looked forward to. She died suddenley, from a heart condition which she had for some years..
I will always remember her as a kind, gentle and thoughtful person. We kept in touch over the years, up to the time of her death.
