In Memoriam

Again the Fearful Guest Death has invade one of our happy homes, taking away a young child, yet in the early morning of life.

Russel, the second oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Aandahl, died last Monday, after an illness of five weeks from measles and complications. The little patient had the best of medical care, and a trained nurse waited constantly at his bedside, but neither medical skill nor parental love could detain the little spirit longer in its house of clay.

Russel Aandahl was born Dec. 21, 1908 in Svea township and was 4 years, 3 months and 28 days of age.

The funeral services were held from the house Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Eidnes, of the Immanuel church offictiating. The pall bearers were Victor and Louis Jongeward, Walter Miller and Elmer Vandeberg. The remains were tenderly laid to rest in the St. Thomas Cemetery, northwest of town.

The heart-broken parents have the sympathy of the community as a whole in this, their hour of affliction and sorrow.

Published in the Litchville Bulletin, Litchville, North Dakota, April 25, 1913.
