In 1901 she came to visit a sister, Mrs. Tom Christianson near Rogers and remained to teach schools near Fingal and in Svea and Scandia townships.

On December 24, 1904, she was married to George Aandahl in Valley City by Rev. James Anderson of the Methodist Church. To this union three sons were born: Clifford J. of Austin, Minn.; Andrew R. of Lincoln, Nebr., and Russell who died when four years of age.

On July 11, 1956, she suffered a heart attack and was a patient at Mercy Hospital for more than three months, and never fully regained her health. She returned to the hospital on Feb. 25 and on Feb. 26, 1957, quietly departed for her heavenly home.

She is survived by her husband and two sons and seven grandchildren. A sister, Emma (Mrs. Harold Gusaas) lives at Moose Jaw, Sask. Eight brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
