Judge, First Judicial District, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Admitted to the Bar on September 4, 1894 and practiced law in Colorado. In 1901 he served five terms as district attorney for the First Judicial District. In 1908 was appointed Assistant United States Attorney for New Mexico, then was elected as first Judge of the First Judicial District in 1911. Served as Colonel of the First Infantry, National Guard of New Mexico and served under General Pershing.
