Born in New Bedford on January 14, 1909, the daughter of the late Victor M. and Rose (Germano) Rigazio, she lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth for many years.
Mrs. Abbott was a beautician who owned and operated Alba's Beauty Shop.
She was a graduate of Wilfred Beauty Academy in Boston.
Survivors include a nephew, Frank Busnengo of New Bedford; a niece, Linda A. Poyant and her husband Roger of Lakeville; a great-nephew, Kevin Poyant; two great-nieces, Annemarie LeFever and husband Chris, and Donna Poyant; and a great-great-niece, Abigail LeFever.
She was the sister of the late Annie R. Busnengo.
Funeral Services and visiting hours will be private. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery.
