OMAHA — Annabelle Abbott, 64, of Omaha died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at Bergen Mercy Hospital in Omaha.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moulton Cemetery near Almeria. The Rev. Don Studley of Calvary United Methodist Church in Taylor will officiate. Her body was cremated.

Memorials are suggested to Loup County Historical Society or Taylor Library.

Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Abbott was born March 3, 1938, near Almeria to Ernest and Hildia (Jarvis) Abbott. She attended Liberty School, a country school, through the eighth grade and high school in Taylor. She held various secretarial jobs through the years, including editing and compiling the newsletter for the State Nurses Association of Nebraska and working in the office of Urban League of Omaha.

She married Floyd Linkins of Omaha in 1982 in Taylor. The couple lived in Omaha. She spent her last year in The Care Center in Omaha.

Survivors include her husband; her stepmother, Glenna Abbott of Long Pine; and a special friend, Lois Stone of Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister and a brother, Larry Abbott.
