Annie married Francis Eugene Abell on 15 May 1894 in St Mary's County, Maryland. They had 10 children. Sometime between 1920 and 1930 Eugene and Annie separated. Eugene stayed in St Mary's County, living with his niece's family (Mary and Claude Guy). Annie moved with the children to Washington, DC. No record of a divorce. Annie's 1930 and 1940 census shows marital status as widowed, Eugene's as married.

Also survived by 24 grandchildren. Funeral from the Simmons Bros. Funeral Home, 1661 Good Hope rd. se. (parking facilities) on Saturday, January 7, at 8:30 a.m., thence to St. Teresa's Catholic Church where mass will be offered at 9 a.m. for the repose of her soul. Interment Washington National Cemetery.
