Mrs. Annie B. Abernathy, of 114 Summit Street, died Saturday, following a lingering illness.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eliza Keever, Cartersville; Mrs. Lillian Milsap, Canton; two sons, the Rev Nat Abernathy and Frank Abernathy, both of Cartersville; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Macedonia Baptist Church, with Elder Willie Howell and Rev. Tom Bill Blackburn officiating. Interment was in the old Macedonia Cemetery.
Mrs. Abernathy was a native of Lumpkin County and is the widow of the late Rev. Will R. Abernathy.
