She was born in Dayton and moved to Portland in the 1930s. She returned to Dallas in 1999. She was an assistant office manager and bookkeeper for 32 years, retiring in 1970. She was a classical pianist and enjoyed music, gardening and traveling. She was a member of the Catholic church. She married George in 1957; he died in 1987.
Survivors include her stepson, Thomas Parsons of Dallas; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum in Portland. Contributions: Willamette Valley Hospice care of Bollman Funeral Home.
