Born Meiringen, Switzerland Feb 29 1855 and when he was 8 came here 55 years ago and settled on the farm where he died.
On April 24 1880 he married Annie Thoeny of Youngsville.
Two children born to them - John died 1906 and Libbie died 1916.
Survived by 2 brothers - John and Casper and sister Katie wife of Melchior Kohler of Beeckwoods."
