From the 7/01/1909 Willshire, Ohio, Herald: "Adrian Leonard, one of the twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Acheson, living east of town, died Monday morning at ten o'clock after only a few hours illness of cholera infantum. It was four months, and 19 days of age at the time of its death. The funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the home, conducted by Rev. L. Rice, the interment taking place in the cemetery at Van Wert. One of the sad features is that the other baby is also quite ill and may not survive, yet there is a good chance that it may recover."

From the 7/08/1909 Willshire, Ohio, Herald: "Adrain (sic) Leonard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Acheson, east of town, was born February 9, 1909, and died June 28, 1909, aged four months and nineteen days. The funeral services were held from the home of the parents Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. by Rev. L. Rice, assisted by Rev. J.W. Hill of Ada. After the services at the home the little body was taken to Van Wert, and tenderly laid to rest in the beautiful cemetery at that place, Rev. Jesse Swank, pastor of the First M.E. church of that place officiating at the grave. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the parents and relatives in their sad bereavement. May the help of Him who said "Suffer the children to come unto Me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven!" be given them in their sad hour of trial, and while earth will be poorer for them, Heaven will be richer and will have the added attraction of their little one who has gone to blossom in that bright clime (sic). Rev. L. Rice."
