Arey Acker, 86, of Grand Ledge, Michigan, passed away in Lansing. He was born to Arey E. and Emma (Storms) Acker.

He retired from Industrial Metal Products Co. as a machinist. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII, and was a member of American Legion Cole Briggs Post #48, and Fraternal Order of Moose and Eagle Lodges.

Pete enjoyed bowling, Grand Ledge sports, and time spent with his family.

He is survived by daughter Susan M. (Lanny) Preston, son William A. (Annette) Acker, grandchildren Jason Ackker, Dominick and Victor Preston, great grandson Riley Acker, and sister Shirley Warren. Pete is preceded in death by wife Marie and grandson Logan.

The memorial service was at Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home Grand Ledge, with Reverend Fr. James Eisele officiating.
