Daughter of William Watson, born 1810, and Mary Dodd, born 1809. She and George were married on 30 October 1824 at Blockley, Worcestershire. Betsey came to America in 1871 with children; husband George came over in 1869. Three of their children were lost quite young and are buried in England - Hannah, born 23 Feb 1854 and died Sep 12 of that year, and her brothers George and Moroni. Another child, Alvin Franklin, born 30 Jul 1872 and was lost in September the same year in Pioche, Lincoln Co., Nevada.
