Abner Adair
HUBBARD - Mr. Abner Adair, 82, of Hubbard, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at a Hubbard nusing facility. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8 at Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard with the Rev. Jerry Irvin officiating.
Mr. Adair was born May 21, 1922, in Clayton, N.M. to Charlie and Ridgie (Condor) Adair. He had been a resident of Hubbard since 1930 and was a rancher. Mr. Adair was an Army veteran of WWII and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hubbard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Etta "Neek" (Anderson) Adair in 2000 and by his parents.
Survivores include brothers, Charles Adair of Waco and Monterey Adair of San Antonio and numerous nieces and nephews.
