He was a Gilbert High School graduate and later worked for the DM&IR Railroad. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in Germany. Following the military, he returned to Virginia and continued working for the railroad. He married Louise Vitich on Feb. 27, 1960. He worked for Reserve Mining Co. and later for the city of Gilbert as the water plant operator until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Josephs Catholic church, AARP and the Gilbert Senior Citizens. He served as past commander of the George and Mark Klobuchar VFW Post in Gilbert and enjoyed collecting antiques and attending numerous garage sales and auctions.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Louise; son, James Adamic,; daughter, Dawn Adamic; brother, Joseph Adamic; grandchildren: Shauna Adamic, Casey Adamic and Carlee Ceglar; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Edwin.
