Bruce was born near Spokane, WA to George Otis Adams & Anna Louise Davis Adams on September 2, 1922, the 8th of 10 children. The family lived on a farm near Craigmont, ID for a few years before relocating to Eugene, OR in 1930 where Bruce grew up and graduated from Eugene High School in 1940. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII, and then was employed by Tektronix in Beaverton, OR for 30+ years before retiring in 1982 to Banks, OR for 10 yrs and then finally to Rose Villa retirement community in Milwaukie, OR. Bruce is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia E. Adams; son, William E. Adams; son, Gary A. Adams (Velda); daughter, Gail A. Sargent (Mark); sister, Betty Rutherford; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
