Carol A. Adams, 82 of Junction City, passed away June 10, 2014 of age-related causes. A rosary will be held on Friday, June 13th at 11:30am at St. Helen Catholic Church in Junction City followed by a memorial mass of a Christian celebration at noon at the church.
Carol was born on December 16, 1931 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin to Benedict and Delores Melchiors. She married Dale Sherrill Adams on September 30, 1948 in Vancouver, Washington. She worked in the grocery business and family-run business she co-owned with her husband Dale. They operated Adams Distributing for 23 years, retiring in 1996. She was also an active member of St. Helen Catholic Church where she was very involved with St. Vincent de Paul. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Adams (Nancy) and Richard Adams (Suzanne) both of Junction City, Oregon; two daughters, Cheryl Coughran (Gene) and Jan Nicol (Tim) also both of Junction City; a sister, RoseMarie Henderson of Eugene; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her husband on June 10, 2010.
Private inurnment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or St. Helen Catholic Church.
