Born Feb. 24, 1926, at Brownwood, daughter of the late Quincy "Kelso" and Sarah "Pearl" Davis Ashcraft, she worked in the radiology department at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau for 30 years. She was a member of Brownwood General Baptist Church and attended Southside Baptist Church in Charleston.
On Dec. 29, 1944, at Jackson, she married Clay Adams who preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1983.
Survivors include: one son, Danny Adams; one brother, Howard Ashcraft; one sister, Mary Kynion and two granddaughters, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, where services were also scheduled. The Rev. Ed Carter officiated.
Burial followed in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
