Found in The State 15 September 1925: Funeral services for Dan Matthews Adams, five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Adams, who died Sunday night at the residence of his parents, 2212 Hickory avenue, Edgewood, were held at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the grave in Elmwood cemetery. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. Dean Crain, pastor of the Shandon Baptist church. Besides his parents, the little boy is survived by two brothers, J. Q. Adams and George Adams Jr., and two sisters Nellie May Adams and Carrie Belle Adams.
