He was born in Milford September 28, 1954 to State Senator Thurman Adams, Jr. and Hilda McCabe Adams. He was raised in Bridgeville and graduated from Woodbridge High School in 1972. Mr. Adams was vice-president of T.G. Adams & Sons Inc. in Bridgeville, a family owned feed, grain and farm business. He was a member of the Delaware National Guards, he served on Bridgeville Cemetery Board, and he was a member of Bridgeville United Methodist Church. Mr. Adams supported many different groups and organizations in the local community. He loved to watch baseball, he especially liked to watch his sons play ball. His favorite team was the Baltimore Orioles. He enjoyed his grandchildren. He was fond of ducks and geese and kept a sanctuary for them near his home.
He was preceded in death by an infant son.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Eva Retzlaff Adams; 3 sons, Brent Adams, Jr., Christopher Adams and Matthew Adams, all of Bridgeville, DE; 2 grandchildren, Brent Adams, III and Emily Adams; his parents, Senator Thurman and Hilda Adams of Bridgeville, DE; and 2 sisters, Lynn Kokjohn of Seoul, Korea and Polly Mervine of Bridgeville, DE.
