Age 81 of Rehoboth Beach, DE died on Sunday, November 6, 2005, at his residence. Prior to relocating to Rehoboth Beach last year, Mr. Adams and his wife resided for 20 years in Pipers Landing, Palm City, FL.
Mr. Adams was born February 29, 1924 in Martha's Vineyard, MA to Elliot and Bessie (Smith) Adams. He was a graduate of Harvard University and held a PhD in chemistry from the University of Delaware. He was employed as the general manager of Air Products Corporation Plastics Division in Allentown, PA before retiring in 1985. He was an avid golfer, history buff, and enjoyed playing bridge and using his computer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bradford Adams, who died in 2001.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Friday, November 11, 2005 in All Saints Cemetery, Rt. 23 (Beaver Dam Rd) near Angola. Father Max Wolf will be officiating.
