COUSHATTA, LA - Beloved mother and Nonnie, Sara Ballard Adcock, 91, was honored with a memorial luncheon at Amazing Grace Baptist Church and a graveside service following on May 6 at Holley Springs Cemetery. The service was officiated by Bro. Marvin Burkett.

Mrs. Adcock was born May 22, 1925 and passed away May 3. She was blessed with a very long and exciting life filled with loving family, friends and adventures.

She was preceded in death by her husband Le Roy Adcock, parents, Roy and Annie Ballard, brother, Roy Ballard and sister, Frances Ingram.

She is survived by her children, daughter, Winkie Blankenship and husband, Jerry of Lafayette, son Randy Adcock and wife, Debbie of Martin; three grandchildren, Wendy Marino and husband Seppi of California, Melissa Thompson and husband, Kayne of Martin, Julie Melloi and husband, Jim of New Zealand; one great grandchild, who was the light of her life, Micah Thompson of Martin, and two wonderful step-great-grandchildren, Hayden and Ryland Thompson of Winnfield; two special friends, True Price of Martin and Ann Price of Ashland; her church family and a host of special friends.
