COUSHATTA, LA - Funeral services for Mr. Le Roy Adcock, 88, of Coushatta, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Clyde Miley. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery in Coushatta, LA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Mr. Adcock was born on January 24, 1922 in Coushatta, LA to the late Emmitt and Carrie Adcock and passed away on December 19, 2010 in Coushatta, LA.
Mr. Adcock is preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt Joel Adcock and Carrie Loftin Adcock; and brothers, Claude Adcock, Ernest Adcock, and Glen Adcock.
Mr. Adcock is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sara Adcock of Coushatta, LA; son, Randy Adcock and his wife, Debbie of Coushatta, LA; daughter, Anita Blankenship and her husband, Jerry of Lafayette, LA; grandchildren, Julie Mello and her husband, Jim of New Zealand, Wendy Blankenship of Lafayette, LA; and Melissa Thompson and her husband, Kayne of Coushatta, LA; great grandchildren, Micah Thompson and Hayden Thompson, both of Coushatta, LA; brother, George Adcock and his wife, Betty of Tyler, TX; one niece, one nephew, and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Ted Singletary, Gene Harris Jr., Jerry Kitchings Scotty Hill, Shane Summers, and Maxie Kitchings.
