Born June 18, 1922, in Howardsville, Va., she was the daughter of Zachery Adcock and Minnie G. Beasley Adcock.
Helen graduated from Scottsville High School.
She married Paul Chialastri, and he passed away in 1985.
Helen worked for C & P Telephone in Washington, D.C. as a telephone operator for many years.
Surviving is her brother, Wilbur "Bill" Cheeks of Polk; her nephews, Wilbur "Will" Cheeks of Cleveland, Ohio and Karl Cheeks of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A private family service will take place at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home in Clintonville.
Interment will take place at the Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, Va.
