Mildred Adcox O'Neal, 88, passed away on Sunday October 18, 2009 at a local hospital.
Mildred was a very active community person who had worked with scout and church groups over the years and had worked many jobs over the years the most recent being a secretary for the State of Tennessee Education Department.
Her true love was riding motorcycles with her husband; they had covered most of the country going on vacation trips and Motor Maid Conventions.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O'Neal, Sr., parents, Richard and Sophia Adcox, brothers, J.T. Adcox and Richard Adcox.
Survivors include her son, Charles L. O'Neal, Jr., daughter-in-law, Carol A. O'Neal; grandchildren, Ellen J. O'Neal, Ian E. O'Neal, Lauren E. O'Neal; sister-in-laws, Katherine O'Neal, Geraldine Adcox; nephews, Douglas Adcox, Mike O'Neal.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the North Chapel.
Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00
to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 22nd, 2009 at the North Chapel.
