The funeral was Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Porter officiated and burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Adcox was the son of the late Dan Adcox, and of Mrs. Ruth Darnell Adcox, who survives. He was a former employee of Amana Refrigeration Co. and a member of the Camargo Church of Christ.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Kara Adcox of Fayetteville and Faye Lynn Adcox of Florida; a son, Daryl Adcox of California; four sisters, Mrs. June Cunningham of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Mrs. Patricia Hopper of Lewisburg, and Mrs. Roberta Christmas and Mrs. Judy Flynt of Fayetteville; and two brothers, Danny Adcox and Randy Adcox, both of Fayetteville.
