Born in the Millers, Long Island, Bahamas he was the son to the late Hamon and Theresa (Miller) Adderley. Mr. Adderley served as a professional butler and chauffeur in Manhattan for 17 years. He took pride in his service to the owner of the Atlantic Record Company. He was a longstanding member of the First Baptist Church of Malabar.
He leaves a daughter, Patricia M. Adderley and granddaughter, Meoshi Nottage of the Bahamas; and a niece, Linda Adderley-Foster of Vero Beach.
A calling of family and friends will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2009 from 10-11 a.m., in the First Baptist Church of Malabar followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
