MURRELLS INLET-- Albert Addison, 79, of Woodlake Village, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center after an illness.

He was born June 27, 1918, in Buffalo, N.Y., a son of the late Albert and Ida Coolidge Addison.

He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and served as a pilot. He was a member of the Myrtle Beach Moose Lodge and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of Myrtle Beach.

Mr. Addison retired from DuPont in Waynesboro, Va.

Survivors include his wife, Constance Addison; three sons, Thomas Addison of Wilmington, Del., Robert Addison of Grottoes, Va., and Andrew Addison of Waynesboro; three daughters, Christina Santry of Columbus, Ga., Aileen Parrott of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Amy West of Denver; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, beach chapel.

Arrangments will be announced by the funeral home.
