Esther Addonizio formerly of Woodbridge, NJ, and Hockessin, DE passed away peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2021, at Sunrise of Randolph. She was 89 years old. Esther was born on December 7, 1931 in Dunmore, Pa. to the late Donato and the late Jennie (Romanello) D'Andrea.
Esther was raised in her father's Assembly of God Church and she was a self-taught piano player and a church pianist for many years. Esther graduated from Kean University with an elementary education degree and was employed as an elementary school teacher by the Woodbridge Public School System for many years before retiring. She loved spending time with her cherished family and many dear friends.
Esther is survived by her daughter, Esther Hodge (Steve), her son, Abe Addonizio, and her sisters, Mary Terry (Jim) and Margaret Re. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Abe in 2009, her son, Daniel in 2012, and her brothers, Leonard and David.
