Midkiff- Abe L. Adkins, 81 of Midkiff died Feb 6, 1995, at the home of his daughter, Shirlene Adkins of Huntington. He was a retired conductor with C & O Railway and an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving; sons, William Edward of South Gate, Mich., Douglas of Hamlin, Joey Allen of Midkiff, Stephen Gregory of Huntington; daughters, Judith Ann Adkins of Midkiff, Tootsie Cupp of Barboursville; brothers, Haskel of Jacksonville, Fla,. Howard C. 'Bill' of Midkiff; sisters, Thelma Lovejoy of Hamlin, Edith Prader of Ohio; 14 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, with the Rev. Bobby Burns officiating. Burial will be in Mark Adkins Cemetery, Sias.
