Estelle Celeste Ozinger Adler, unparalleled loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dedicated homemaker, passed away at the age of 87, Saturday, November 30, 2013 in Crofton, Md. Born June 20, 1926 in Erie, Pa.; she was the daughter of the late Louis Berend Ozinger and Gracia Shallop Ozinger. Estelle was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking Stollen for family and friends during the Christmas season. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to France and Germany, and adored the chocolates, pastries and wines of Europe. She was an exceptional navigator in the air as well as with her family. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Stanford Lee Adler Sr., and a son, Gerard Adler. Estelle is survived by a son, Stanford Adler Jr. and wife, Michele, of Danville, Pa., their children, Kristen Tidball and husband, Matt (children: Grace and Jack), Katlyn Jacobs and husband, Steven (son, Bodhi), Stanford Thomas Adler, Allison Crosson and husband, Mark, Nathaniel Adler; a daughter, Christine Wolfe and husband, Richard, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y,, their children, Erica Pritchard and husband, Mark (son, Jacob) of England, Pepper Wells and husband Roger, Megan Britton and husband Jeff; a daughter, Ann A. Fagen of Black Mountain, N.C., her children, Matthew and wife, Jill (children, Snow and Theo) of Taiwan, Philip of North Conway, N.H., Nina Fagen Holland (children, Estelle and Willow) of Black Mountain, N.C., Leah of Concord, N.H; a son Paul Adler and wife, Priscilla, of Riva, Md., their children, Arin Rumovicz and husband, Richard (children, Max, Charlotte and Greyson) of Vernon, Conn., Timothy of Annapolis, Md.; a son, Michael Adler and wife, Daisy, of Winter Haven, Fla.; and a daughter-in-law, Drucilla Adler, of Roanoke, Va.
