Sister Tjwania "Tee" Campbell Agee - born in Morvin, AL and a lifelong resident of Mobile, Al. made her transition from earth to heaven on Wednesday January 5, 2011. She was a member of the Buxton Chapel C.M.E. Church. In 1967 she graduated valedictorian from A.L. Martin H.S. She was employed with James T. Strickland Youth Center for over 25 years as an administrator. She was a longtime active member of the NAACP. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, two loving children, Rev. Alonzo Antonio (Christian) Agee, Sr. and Tela Tamara (Jeffery) Howze; her mother, Rosie Smith; five grandchildren, Jakarah D. Munnerlyn, Alonzo A. Agee, Jr., Kristopher X. Agee, Chaselyn T. Howze, and Kelton L. Agee; five brothers, Bradley Smith, Herman Smith, Marion Smith, Michael Smith, and Kenneth Smith; five sisters, Tekeela Ely, Vanessa (Christopher) Henry, Veronica (Fred) Hudson, Carolyn (Marquis) Westry, and Rosemary(Chris) Williams. A devoted father -in- law, Alonzo Dixon; two devoted cousins, Okeema Jordan, Sarah Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends including The Christian's Bible Teaching Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church from 10a.m. until the 12 noon funeral hour. Rev. James Murphy Pastor and Rev. Joseph Barren officiating minister. Interment will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL. Arrangements entrusted to the careful direction of Reese Funeral Home.
