Alvin C. Ahn Jr., 68, of 843 N. Halstead St., Allentown, died Friday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth M. (Korpics) Ahn.
He was a car inspector for Conrail in the Allentown yard, retiring in 1985 with 39 years' service. During the same period he was employed in the shipping and receiving department at Schoen's furniture store, Allentown, for 20 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Alvin C. Sr. and Ada Ahn.
He was a member of St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic Church, Allentown.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are two sons, Michael J., with whom he resided, and Christopher C. of Poway, Calif., a brother George of Northampton and a grandson.
