He was the son of Walter and Willie Anderson Aiken. He was retired from Abbeville County Memorial Hospital. He attended Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church.∼Roosevelt Aiken Sr., 88, widower of Francina Mayes Aiken, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at Heardmont Nursing Home, Elberton, Ga.
Survivors Sons, Roosevelt Aiken Jr. of Abbeville, and Jimmy Aiken of Greenville; daughters, Margaret Williams and Carolyn Gray, both of Abbeville, and Mrs. Winton Elaine Quiller of Greenville; a sister, Mamie Aiken of New York City; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
