Alice graduated from Kramer High School in Columbus. On May 21, 1934, Alice married Kenneth E. Aikins in Columbus. They lived in Utah for many years where Alice worked for the Midland Telephone Company . She moved back to Columbus in 1976 and later to Bellwood. Alice was a member of First Baptist Church where she was active in many organizations. Alice was a member of the American Baptist Women, a deaconess, Ruth Circle, and was also a Sunday School Instructor. She enjoyed gardening, growing hibiscus flowers, music, and playing the piano. Alice also liked to go hiking, camping, and fishing.
