She was born on August 20, 1931 in Arcadia, California, the daughter of the late John Murrey Edgerton Glyn and Iris Lawton Glyn. She was predeceased by her husband, Ret. USMC Major James Joseph Ainsworth, Sr. in 1999.
Margo was a Master Level Tournament Bridge player and loved to play cards with her friends and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and loved to be outside tending to her flowers and watching birds at the feeders.
Surviving her are son, James Joseph Ainsworth, Jr. and wife Glennie of Raleigh, N.C., daughters, Carolyn Jean Miller and husband Martin of Emmitsburg, MD and Karen A. Brown and husband Richard of Apex, N.C.; grandchildren, James Joseph Ainsworth, III and wife Meredith, Chelsea N. Ainsworth, Kyle M. Brown, Kevin G. Brown, and Joel D. Miller; sister-in-law, Betty Glyn of California.
She was predeceased by a brother, John Murrey Glyn.
