Benjamin P. Ainsworth, 72, died Thursday, February 28, 1957, in Stonewall Jackson Hospital after an extended illness. He was born at Hollins, Va., a son of Napoleon B. Ainsworth and Emma Kyle Thompson Ainsworth.

Surviving are two daughters and one son, Mrs. Mary Monroe Tabbs, Richmond, Mrs. Emily Kyle Watson, Lexington and Edward P. Ainsworth, now with the U.S. Air Force stationed in England; also one sister, Miss Helen Ainsworth, McAlester, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held Monday at the home of Mrs. Douglas Higgins with interment in Stonewall Jackson Cemetery.
