Adagail "Gail" Albaugh, 71, of Tarentum, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Oct. 18, 1938, in New Kensington, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth B. and Alpha (Bowser) Sharer, and lived most of her life in Tarentum. She was a homemaker, and also was employed by Giant Eagle, in Harmarville, and in the mailroom at the Valley News Dispatch. She was a member of Highland Free Methodist Church, Natrona Heights. She graduated in 1956 from Tarentum High School. She enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, baking and cooking, Mrs. Albaugh also enjoyed the classic movies, especially "John Wayne" movies. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Raymond C. "Russ" Albaugh; daughter, Tracy (Dana) Smith, of Buffalo Township; granddaughter, Rallene (Daniel) Thompson, of Tarentum; grandson, Cody Smith, of Buffalo Township; and granddaughter, Cloe Lynn Thompson, of Tarentum. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Fennell, Sally Slee and Evelyn Eagon; a brother, Russell Sharer Sr.; and a nephew, Russell Sharer Jr. Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME, Tarentum. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home by the Rev. Eric Nulph, pastor of Word of Faith Christian Fellowship. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
