According to the Carroll County, Ohio death records, Vol.2, page 2, Anna was single and died November 30, 1887 in California , at the age of 28 years, 1 month & 29 days of Lung Trouble. Her parents were listed as Basil Albaugh & Nancy Beatty.

This next was in the Steubenville Weekly Gazette Friday December 30, 1887.

Miss Annie Albaugh, who went with her brother to Pasadena, California, about one year ago, died recently at that place, and her remains were expressed to her home at Kilgore, Carroll County. Miss Albaugh was a cousin to John L. Beatty, of this city. (NOTE --- The newspaper have her last name spelled Allabaugh.)

Her death notice in the Carroll Free Press, Carrollton, Ohio, Wednesday, December 21, 1887.

Miss Annie Albaugh, formerly of Kilgore, Carroll County, Ohio, who had made her home with her brothers in California for the past year or more, died at Pasadena, California, on Wednesday, November 30th. Her remains were brought to Kilgore for interment, in compliance with a request that she had made, the funeral being held on Friday of last week. Miss Albaugh was the only sister of Mrs. Rev. G. B. Smith, pastor of the M. E. Church, of this place.
