Age 81, of Chatsworth, California, died Monday, March 4, 2013. He was born to Adelbert Alderton II and Mildred Fehrman in Saginaw, Michigan, on August 20 1931.
Del received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona in 1953, and served as a tank commander in the United States Army from 1953 to 1957. Del was married to Jewel Eisenman on September 2, 1951.
After the Army, Del was an accomplished salesman for a national industrial products distributor, Uniroyal, Inc. He bought his own business, Pacific Belting Industries, Inc., and was a successful businessman in Los Angeles until he retired in 2001.
Del is survived by his loving wife Jewel, sons Del (and wife Cindy) and Scott (and wife Sandi), and daughter-in-law Adrianne. Del has nine wonderful grandchildren: Ashley; Justin; Austin; Jason; Brianne; Chase; Caitlin; Cody and Kenedy.
