Mother If Local Woman Died Sunday at Paragould
Mrs. Amanda Belle Aldredge, 77-year old and mother of Mrs. Robert Gamblin of this city, died at 5:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. L. Simmons in Paragould, Ark., following an illness due to heart trouble.
She was a native of McNary county, Tennessee, but had lived in Paragould since 1927. She was the widow of John A. Aldredge who died in 1903.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning from the Simmons residence in Paragould and burial was made in the Sikeston cemetery. She is survived by four daughters, a son, and one brother.
