Funeral for Alma Hampton Aldridge, 79, of Danville will be Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Gloria Lynne Herring officiating.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Aldridge, who died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at Sunbridge Nursing Home, was born Nov. 3, 1927, in Morgan County to Jimmy and Elizabeth Hampton. She retired from Medical Park Convalescent Center as an LPN. Her husband, Harold Aldridge, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Aldridge and Doyne Aldridge, both of Decatur; one daughter, Dianne Carnell of Owens Crossroads; two brothers, Arthur Hampton of Lancaster, Calif., and Howard Hampton of Hartselle; one sister, Wilma Ryan of Huntsville; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Hospice.
