MISS HATTIE ALEXANDER LOSES FATHER IN VIRGINIA
Albert Alexander, father of Miss Hattie Alexander, principal of Elizabeth school, died at the home of his son, Frank Alexander, Covington, Va., yesterday morning, according to word received here later in the day.
The remains are scheduled to be brought here Friday morning. Funeral service will be held either Friday or Saturday, it was said.

Alexander, at Covington, Va., will be conducted this morning in Charlotte immediately following the arrival of the body at 8:50 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery. Mr. Alexander was formerly of the Hopewell community and is survived here by a daughter, Miss Hattie Alexander.
