Alfred Alexander, a long time resident of Somers, passed away peacefully at home on March 15 2008. Alfred was born on Staten Island, NY to Carmina and Michael Alexander, the youngest of eight children. Alfred graduated from Tottenville High School on Staten Island and the NY Institute of Credit in NYC. He worked for Ciba-Geigy Corporation for 44 years and retired as the Corporate Director of Credit in 1976. After his retirement, he served as President of his Condo Board for 10 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Katherine, his daughter, Janet Krikorian, his granddaughters, Kim Sciametta (Sal) and Jill Krikorian- Niemiec (Chris) and two great granddaughters, Grace and Sophia Sciametta, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday March 17, 2008 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Home, Mahopac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday March 18, 2008 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Croton Falls, NY. Interment to Follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
