ELIZABETH ALEXANDER PASSED AWAY MONDAY
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Alexander Dies After Brief Illness
The sympathy of their countless friends will be extended to Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Alexander in the death of their daughter, Elizabeth, who passed away yesterday morning at 10 o'clock, after a few days' illness at their home, 966 Hickman road. Elizabeth, who was just fourteen years old, was taken ill last Wednesday night and from the first her condition was alarming. The end came quietly yesterday morning in spite of heroic efforts on the part of doctors, nurses, and loved ones to save her.
The funeral will take place this afternoon at 6 o'clock from the residence and the interment will be in the Summerville Cemetery. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. S. B. McCarty, assisted by Rev. Jos. R. Sevier.
Elizabeth was a lovely girl, gentle sweet and beloved by every one that knew her. Her loss to her loved ones is irreparable, and the sympathy of every one that knows them is extended to her mother and father, and sisters and brothers, to whom her presence in the home meant so much and to whom her loss will bring such sorrow.
She is survived by her mother and father, her twin sister, Martha, a younger sister, Harriett, and a brother Hilhouse Alexander.
