FINAL RITES PLANNED FOR B. F. ALEXANDER

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 13, for B. F. Alexander, well-known operator of an auto mechanic shop at Wadsworth Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard.

Reverend F. A. Anderson will officiate at the 1 PM services to be held from McCoy Memorial Baptist Church, 802 F 16th St., where Alexander was a trustee deacon and treasurer.

Alexander was born in Dallas, Texas July 18, 1891. He was married to Cora Elizabeth Holland, October 30, 1913 in Houston. They were happily married for 39 years. Alexander had always been a self-reliant person who owned and operated his own business from an early age. In Beaumont and Houston, Texas he ran a very successful auto mechanic business until coming to Los Angeles in November 1936. He opened his first place of business here in 1937.

He leaves a wife, Mrs. Cora Alexander, a son and a daughter, and hosts of relatives and friends.
