Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Praisewater Mortuary, Van Nuys, California. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, under the direction of Price Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alexander was the daughter of the late Congressman Charles J. Colden, state of California, and Jessie F. Colden. Her father served in the Missouri state legislature, was an editor of the Daily Forum and the first president of the board of regents of Northwest Missouri State University. She was a secretary for her father when he was serving in Washington, D. C.
Other survivors include a sister, ViJune Hawthorne, Stanberry; a half-brother, Charles J. ColdenII, Palm Springs, California; nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Dr. E. B. Alexander, preceded her in death in 1976.
