Alford, James Robert, 79, a resident of Montgomery for 50 years, died at his home 2049 Speigle Street, Tuesday [September 10] at 6:30 p.m. unexpectedly.
Graveside services will be held from Greenwood Cemetery Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Fred Bueto officiating. White Chapel directing.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. J.R. Alford, Montgomery; one son, Julian M. Alford Sr., Montgomery; one brother, Raymond Alford, Eclectic, AL; two sisters, Mrs. Era McHenry, Eclectic, AL and Mrs. Honey Adams, Longview, Texas; one grandson, Julian M. Alford, Jr., Montgomery....
