Mrs. Amy Rose (Sue), 42, Glencoe Rt. 1, died in a local hospital yesterday at 2:30 a.m. after a short illness.
Survivors, her husband, Cecil (Bill) Alford; daughters, Mrs. Janet Lee Hines and Mrs. Frances Ruth Tullis both of Glencoe Rt. 1; son, Thomas Allen (Jackie) Alford, Glencoe Rt. 1; father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas D. Campbell, Knoxville, Tenn., brothers, Pete Campbell, Maryville, Tenn, and Harlan D. Campbell, Miami, Fla., step brother, Lyle Dorman, Huntsville, and three grandchildren.
Services will be at North Glencoe Baptist Church tomorrow at 1 p.m. with Revs. A.A. Bentley and Douglas Welch officiating.
Burial, Crestwood Cemetery. Cousins will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be personal friends.
Mrs. Alford was a native of Blount County and a resident of Etowah County most of her life. She was a member of North Glencoe Baptist Church, member of OES, Glencoe Chapter 466 and a past Worthy Matron.
The body will remain in Collier Butler Parlors and will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services.
